Last year I titled my blog “Balancing between studying and having a life”. Although I can give this heading the current one, there will is a vast difference in the content of the two.
It is not that the Technion, where I study, has decreased its high demands, and I still spend most of my time studying. But as time goes by, I find better ways to simultaneously enjoy the student’s life. I go out with fellow students, who became great friends of mine, and practice lots of sport activities. Luckily, the Technion supports this passion and offers academic lessons in nearly every sport imaginable, from Salsa dancing, through bowling to squash. In addition, this semester I returned to playing the piano, as I began making music arrangements and playing at Technion ceremonies.
I feel that after a year I’m starting to take things in the right perspective, understanding that although studying and being well-accomplished at university are important, they are only part of my life, even as a student.
